TERM PAPER IN MLA STYLE: GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Type your term paper in MLA style on computer and print on white 8,5×11-inch paper;
  • Text of the term paper in MLA style should be double-spaced, 12pt. Times New Roman font;
  • Margins should be set at 1-inch on all sides;
  • Pagination of the term paper in MLA style: upper right-hand corner, 1½-inch from the top;
  • Endnotes should be written on a separate sheet of paper.

TERM PAPER IN MLA STYLE: THE FIRST PAGE

  • No title page (only if required by your tutor);
  • Upper right-hand corner: the header (your last name and the number of the page);
  • Upper left-hand corner: your name, your tutor’s name, the course, and the date.
  • Center (double-spaced from the date): the title – do not underline it!
  • Double space from the title to the first line of the text;
